On the 28th of March, I had this feeling to write a one-day-journal. There are numerous assignments waiting for me to complete them, even on the very precious sleepy Saturday. I spent my weekends at home just to finish up the assignments.

On the same day, two events turned up; International Understanding Night and Earth Hour. I was the photographer and camcorder man for the IU Night last year. The IU Director last year was my friend, Low Yuan Kay. The event was a success and I enjoyed working together with her. Most importantly, the videos I recorded for the Interact Club was useful.

The event is hosted in the school hall of Sri Garden. I went there late, for some unforeseen reasons. However, the itinerary for the IU Night this year was kind of boring. What attracted me was the Fashion Walk. The models put on funny costumes and they really look like clowns. Not only that, I saw her. She was there. I’m really happy. I feel really grateful for even being able to have a conversation with her. Everything seems to be going on smoothly, but, it was really different for me. I used to be a dumb guy, with some “social disabilities”. I’m afraid of talking, especially to her.

Well, the IU Night only lasted until 9.30. We left at 8.30pm. It was just in time that the Earth Hour project had started.  We went for dinner in a restaurant. To me, this is a very memorable event; to have dinner with her. She sat right opposite of me. I still remember the last time we had dinner together was 13th of December 2006. This second dinner, it was a “long” dinner. We chatted a lot. I won’t forget about this, as we have no sweet memories being together. Although it was just a dinner, I treasure every moment I spent with her. I will remember it for every single day, and the scene on that day itself.
